Introduction |
15 minutes | Upon arrival each group will get a brief introduction explaining the purpose of their trip, building directions, explanation of their self-guided exhibit experience, and schedule for their visit. |
Exhibit |
30-60 minutes | Students have self-guided time to explore the exhibits using age-appropriate scavenger hunts. |
Lesson |
40 or 50 minutes | Each group of students participates in one pre-selected guided lesson. See program descriptions for lesson details. |
Flower Tower |
30 minutes | Students take the award-winning Flour Tower multi-media show to the museum's upper levels, including the rooftop Koch Observation Deck. |
Lunch |
25 minutes | Lunch space is available from 10:30am until 1:30pm for groups to pre-book. |
Movie |
30 minutes | Watch a short film on Minneapolis history "Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat!" in the newly restored West Engine House Theater. |
