SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was awesome

The flour tower elevator was sweet. The water lab was fun. I liked the water pipes.

Excellent!

Great museum!

I really enjoyed this museum

I really enjoyed this museum and the nearby Stone Arch Bridge and park. This is an interactive museum about the reason Minneapolis exists. . . . Far from a boring museum about flour, I found this museum to be a poetic tribute to the industry that gave birth to this great city. The generations of people who worked in the mills, the constant threat of explosion, the ingenious designs of the early mills. I ate it up. Most historical sites in the Midwest focus on some idyllic ‘Little House on the Prairie’ past where homesteaders beat the odds on the wild frontier. This one gets right to the heart of the history of the urban Midwest – big industries and big commerce.

Awesome!

Awesome! I was nervous my 4 year old was not going to like this museum, but she loved it! The whole family loved it! It is easy to forget what how bustling cities were created. The Mill City Museum gives you a feel of how life was like in our grandparents generation! Try to go on a nice day so you can take a walk to see the mill ruins that are at the St Anthony falls. It is hard to imagine that not too far away from the Metrodome that there is the falls and serenity. This is a must-see.

A very cool museum!

A very cool museum! Suprisingly enough, this was a really cool museum. My kids have asked to go back. We all had a lot of fun learning about the flour industry and there were so many hands on learning activities. The big elevator that you ride up and down was one of my kids favorites as well as learning about the big fire.
